Do you have good general building/engineering experience? Can you manage projects from start to finish? Are you looking for variety and responsibility?
Then come and join our team keeping the infrastructure at the airport and harbours in great working condition. We have a unique and dynamically ‘live’ environment where some project activities revolve around tides and operating schedules. That comes with some challenges, but it’s the breadth and depth of our asset and facilities portfolio and the wide range of maintenance, engineering and small/medium size capital projects that will really whet your professional appetite. We appreciate that you’ll need to become familiar with our portfolio and regulatory standards. Yet it’s your good hands-on building, facilities management and/or electrical or mechanical engineering experience, complemented with a HND or similar qualification that will give you a strong foundation to build on. If you have some project management experience/qualification so much the better, but we’ll support your training if you don’t. Whether you’re involved with elements of our planned replacement and repair programme, a new equipment installation and commissioning, or a building refurbishment, you’ll be managing all aspects of the project from start to finish. You know that great delivery depends on meticulous attention to detail and open and regular communication. Some projects are handled in-house and others go out for tender, and it will be your responsibility to ensure everything progresses on time, within budget and to standards. With a genuine collaborative and can-do, solutionsdriven and team-spirited attitude, your internal customers, colleagues and external partners trust your judgement and know they can rely on you one hundred percent.
