Our structured Graduate Traineeships offer a diverse range of exciting career opportunities to choose from including engineering, asset management, strategic planning, operational management, health and safety management and technical records for those individuals who have a genuine interest in extending their academic qualification into industry.

Real roles

As a Graduate Trainee you will put into practise what you have learnt and, from day one you will be given a real role working alongside our work qualified Officers, Engineers and Technicians on their day-to-day operational activities delivering a safe, quality, on time and efficient service for all our customers. You will be supported to develop your technical skills, knowledge and experience shaping you into an accomplished Gas Professional with the opportunity leading to Industry wide Chartered status within your given discipline.

To facilitate this you will be supported by a dedicated Technical Training Officer who will guide you through your formal training and development and enable you to progress into leadership roles within the business.

Industry recognised qualifications

Depending on your entry level and the business stream you join we will ensure that you are supported in attaining one of a number of industry standard technical qualifications and follow a path to achieve membership of a recognised professional qualification. Training may be off Island as required.

Entry Criteria

Relevant degree (or equivalent) and work experience in a related field.

Opportunities are available in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man with flexibility to travel between all of our three Island businesses essential to gain the appropriate knowledge and experience. A passion that matches your educational qualification and a desire to manage and lead projects, with support, will be necessary to maximise the potential for your development and to meet our operational requirements.
