Half a century of Astronomy.

Details:

The past half-century has been a Golden Age for astronomy. The development of new branches of the science, together with the invention of innovative observational techniques, has led to a great advancement in our knowledge of the Universe. David will describe the remarkable discoveries, including some rare events, that have excited amateurs as well as professional astronomers.
